KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School successfully organises fifth batch of free online course on Spoken English

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organised  5th batch of week long online classes on Spoken English. This online course has received the participation of more than 200 students from all streams. The classes were taken on Zoom platform in virtual meetings. During the classes students will be taught in different modules and the modules will focus on how to improve their speaking ability & acquire felicity in dialogue exchange. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi was the chief guest during the inaugural session. During the inaugural session, students were introduced to the respective resource persons for the online classes. The participants will also be made to learn basic English sentence patterns & will be given tips to improve their vocabulary during the course of these online classes. The students were very much appreciative of this exemplary course as they got a great platform for improving their communication skills which is the need of the hour in today’s competitive world. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that it is a very refreshing program amidst summer break of the students as they can utilise their time as well energy in a productive manner. She further maintained that these types of courses help in the overall development of the personality of the students. She also emphasised on the fact that success in one’s life depends upon the communication skills so that one can express himself in a good way. Prof. Dwivedi also encouraged the students to learn the right language and not the slang so that they can speak English confidently. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of Mrs. Veena Deepak (Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School) and Dr. Madhumeet (Head, PG Department of English and Dean, Department of Student Welfare). She also appreciated the resource persons for the online classes namely Ms Babita, Ms Sonam, Ms Agrima & Ms Tejaswini and motivated them for such future endeavours.
