Students Grow Nostalgic going down the Memory Lane Jalandhar, February 1, 2019: K.M.V Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized 'Reminiscences'- a program dedicated to 10+2 students. It was organized to wish the students of 10+1 and 10+2 (all streams) good luck for their coming final exams and also for their upcoming future. The function began with the lamp lighting by the college Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. Madam Principal addressed the students by blessing all the students and averred that students are very energetic and store house of talent and energy. She congratulated all the students who were participating in various events on the stage during the occasion. She also advised students to be focused on the preparation of the exams, have confidence in themselves and students should plan their time very well. She emphasized on the fact that under the Autonomous Status granted to KMV, the atmosphere in KMV is very student friendly as in KMV special care and focus is provided to each and every student for their proper care and growth. On this occasion Navroz, the Head Girl expressed her gratitude to the Principal and the faculty members for always motivating the students to excel and said that the individual attention given to each student in KMV is exemplary. She further said that choosing KMV was the best decision of her life. Pratigya, another student also fell short of words in sharing her wonderful experiences at KMV. She said with pride that KMV has been instrumental in transforming her whole personality and making her brilliant and confident the credit of which she gave to her teachers. During the function, students participated in Modeling and Dance competition. Many games were also organized for the entertainment of the students. The students of 10+2 (all streams) expressed their feelings for their institution and for their teachers & friends through documentaries. In Modeling competition, Mehak won the title of Miss Reminiscence, Palak became 1st Runner up, Navroz became 2nd runner up, Mimona won the title of Miss Gorgeous and Saloni won the title of Miss Elegant. Sh. Veena Deepak (Co-ordinator, K.M.V. Collegiate School) gave her best wishes to the students for their bright future. Dr. Madhumeet and Mrs. Harpreet Kaur were the judges during the competition.
