Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized Online Talent Hunt 2021 under the aegis of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya. The event began with the welcome address of chief guest for the event Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. Prof. Dwivedi welcomed the new entrants of Collegiate School. She averred that KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School is an integral unit of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya and it is the entry point of the new talent. She further maintained that these kind of activities help the students in their holistic development and KMV is a pioneer institution which facilitated the students with ample amount of opportunities. 

After the address, the performances of students in various events such as Solo Dance, Solo Song, Best Out of Waste, Still Life/Landscape, Mask Making, Modelling, Wonders of Sciences at Home, etc. were held. During the culmination of the event, winners in various categories were announced.  Modelling was the chief attraction of the event. Sarghi (+1 Arts) got the title of Miss Fresher, Trishita (+1 Commerce) was chosen as 1st Runner up, Simranjot Kaur (+1 Medical) was the 2nd Runner up, Diti (+1 Commerce) was Miss Elegant, Bhoomi (+1 Arts) remained Miss Charming, Rehatpreet Kaur (+1 Commerce) got Miss Beautiful Smile and Gursharnjit Kaur (+1 Commerce) remained Miss Confident. In Solo Dance, Sarghi and Simran Sharma (+1 Arts) remained 1st and 2nd in position, Harparneet (+1 Commerce) remained 3rd. In Solo Song, Rajbir (+1 Arts) got 1st postion, Harkirat kaur (+1 Non. Medical) and Saloni (+1 Commerce) secured 2nd and 3rd position. Students in Rangoli Making also shown their artistic side and Mavneet Kaur (+1 Arts), Simran Kaur (+1 Medical) and Vanshika (+1 Non. Medical) got 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Jasmeen Kaur, Simran Kaur and Anshika (+1 Medical) procured first three positions in Best Out of Waste. Students also participated in Wonders of Sciences at Home and secured positions. Simranjot Kaur (+1 Medical) got 1st position, Vanshika (+1 Non. Medical) and Savleen Kaur (+1 Medical) remained 2nd and Simran Kaur (+1 Non. Medical) and Rajdeep Kaur (+1 Medical) remained 3rd in position.  ‘Tickle Your Funny Bones’ held in three languages differently. Jasmeet Kaur, Agampreet Kaur (+1 Arts) and Gursharnjit Kaur (+1 Commerce) secured first three positions in English; Priyanka and Mudita (+1 Arts) got positions in Hindi; Babanpreet Kaur, Simran Sharma (+1 Arts) remained 1st and 2nd, Manvir Kaur (+1 Commerce) got 3rd position in Punjabi language. Bhoomi, Riya (+1 Arts) and Lovepreet Kaur (+1 Medical) obtained 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in Still Life. In Landscape, Shreya Dadhwal (+1 Arts), Lovepreet Kaur and Simran Kaur (+1 Medical) got first three positions respectively. In Mask Making, Jashandeep Kaur (+1 Arts), Kashish (+1 Commerce) and Simran Kaur (+1 Medical) remained 1st, 2nd and 3rd.  Photography was the other event in which Simran Sharma (+1 Arts), Harmanjot Kaur (+1 Non. Medical) and Jasmeen Kaur (+1 Medical) secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Ritika Bangar (+1 Medical) remained 1st in both Sanskrit Sulekh Pratiyogita and Sanskrit Shlok Ucharan Pratiyogita, Vanshika (+1 Non. Medical) and Gurjeet Kaur (+1 Medical) obtained 2nd and 3rd positions in Sanskrit Sulekh Pratiyogita. Bhawanpreet Kaur (+1 Commerce), Simran Sharma (+1 Arts) and Anshika (+1 Medical) performed well and secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in Business Tycoons. Ritika Bangar (+1 Medical) got 1st position in Net Savvy, Muskan (+1 Non. Medical) and Simran Sharma (+1 Arts) secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. In Sudoku, Kanan, Jannat and Vanshika (+1 Non. Medical) procured first three positions. Mrs. Veena Deepak, Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School gave Vote of Thanks to the Principal and judges of all the events. Madam Principal congratulated the winners and motivated them to keep participating in these kind of activities in future also. She also lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare & Dr Gurjot, Dean, ECA.
