KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School celebrates World Environment Day 

Jalandhar, June 5, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Collegiate Sr. Sec. School celebrates World Environment Day with full zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration was organised jointly by Department of Environmental Science & NCC. On this occasion, various activities such as poster making, rangoli, extension lecture and plant donation campaign were organised on the basis of this year's theme Only One Earth, in which more than 200 students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. While the students talked about the dangers arising to the environment and its prevention through their posters and Rangoli, at the same time they also made everyone aware about environmental conservation. Apart from this, the students also donated medicinal and ornamental plants.

Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi addressing on the occasion averred that clean environment has a very special importance in the creation of a healthy and efficient society, and it is the fundamental responsibility of all of us to protect the environment. She further maintained that such kind of events prove to be very effective in creating awareness in the society about this important subject.

Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, Veena Deepak, Coordinator, KMV Collegiate School, Mrs. Anand Prabha, Incharge, KMV Collegiate School and Mrs. Sufalika, Department of Environment Science and Incharge, N.C.C. for successfully organising the celebrations.
