KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School celebrates National Science Day 

Jalandhar, March 1, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar celebrated National Science Day to mark the discovery of the great invention by the Indian Physicist Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman who discovered ‘Raman’s Effect’. To celebrate National Science day three events were organized. Under ‘Miracles of Science at home’ students dedicated “National Science day” to find science and its principles in kitchen and home. 11 students made videos of activities and phenomenons like Pressure, Heat, Surface tension, Conduction, beats, pitch, Compressions and Rarefactions using household things.   Simranjot from 11th Medical got the first position, Vanshika from 11th Non Med bagged the second position, Savleen Kaur from 11th Medical got the third position. In the other event ‘Making Power Point Presentation on the topic Space Sciences, 7 students participated and Anshika got the 1st prize. A documentary on the same topic was also shown to arouse and enhance the interest of the students in space sciences. 
Principal Prof. (Dr). Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Ms. Veena Deepak( Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School), Ms. Anand Prabha (Incharge , KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School) to organize such events as they help the students in their holistic development. She averred that these competitions are also important  to spread a message about the importance of Science used in the daily life and they also motivate the students to do experiments in their own creative manner.
