KMV Celebrates World Entrepreneurs’ Day to Foster Innovation and Student Entrepreneurship

Jalandhar, August 26, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrates World Entrepreneurs’ Day with great zeal and enthusiasm, fostering the spirit of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship among students.
The activity was organised by the KMV Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with the PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration. As part of the celebration, students participated in a poster-making activity based on the theme of “Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Creativity.” The activity provided students with an opportunity to express their ideas creatively while developing an entrepreneurial mindset. The activity greatly motivated the students and encouraged them to explore innovative ideas and consider entrepreneurship as a promising career pathway. The colourful posters and creative presentations reflected the students’ understanding of the entrepreneurial spirit.
Director Prof.. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated and acknowledged the sincere efforts of the students and congratulated the PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration for the successful organisation of the event. She encouraged the students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, identify opportunities, transform innovative ideas into meaningful ventures and actively participate in entrepreneurial activities.
The event concluded on an inspiring note, reinforcing KMV’s commitment to nurturing innovation, creativity, leadership and entrepreneurship among its students.
The results of the competition were announced as follows:
* First Position: Sarthi Sharma, B.Com. Sem- I
* Second Position: Athira Pillai, M.Com. FYIP Semester VII, and Vanshika, M.Com. FYIP Sem- III
* Third Position: Ritu, M.Com. FYIP Semester I, and Ms. Kangna Suri, B.Com. Sem- I
