KMV Celebrates World Anti -Terrorism Day

Jalandhar, May 21, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Jalandhar's NSS Unit organized “Anti-Terrorism Day”. On this occasion different competitions were organised such as Slogan Writing, Poster making, Declamation and Power point presentation was held in which more than 50 students participated in different competitions.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi encouraged the students to participate more and more in such competitions as these are organised to make the people aware about the international problem of Terrorism. She averred that students should make efforts to maintain peace all over the world and should protest against such issues as terrorism is a sinful, immoral, unethical practice of violence which frightens the government and society. She further maintained that it is pertinent to motivate youth about national integration.
Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare and Ms. Ashima Sahni, Head, Department of Political Science were lauded for their contribution to the cause. Prizes were distributed to the students who got different positions in competitions organised on this day. Following students got the prizes for the activities which are conducted in the competition.
