KMV Celebrates Teachers’ Day with Online Event Showcasing Student Gratitude
Students Honour Educators with Heartfelt Performances

Jalandhar, September 5, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm through an online event, where students came together to express their heartfelt gratitude to the faculty. The celebration was organised by the Student Council under the aegis of the Department of Student Welfare.
The programme began with a warm welcome to the chief guest, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi. In her address, Dr. Dwivedi lauded the teachers for their unwavering dedication and resilience, describing them as the “architects of the nation.” She highlighted the pivotal role educators play in shaping the future of society and appreciated their efforts in adapting to diverse teaching methodologies to ensure seamless learning. She also reiterated KMV’s commitment to fostering a nurturing and empowering environment for both students and teachers.
The highlight of the event was a series of cultural performances presented by students, including soulful songs, captivating dance performances, and moving poetry recitations — all dedicated to their mentors. Students also shared personal anecdotes and testimonials, narrating how their teachers have inspired and guided them, underscoring the profound impact educators have beyond academics.
Principal also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, for successfully organising the celebrations.
