KMV celebrates Indian Newspaper Day

Jalandhar, January 29, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated Indian Newspaper Day. On this occasion activities like news writing, poster making & article writing etc. were organised. Students actively participated in these activities by making beautiful posters on topics like freedom of press, role and importance of linguistic newspapers, women empowerment and media, importance of press in nation building etc. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi while addressing on this occasion, explained the role of press in nation building, democracy and social upliftment and also congratulated all the students who participated in this event. She averred that such events are very helpful for the students to understand the importance of the subject. Principal lauded the efforts made by the PG Department of Journalism and Mass Communication for organising this successful event.
