KMV Celebrates Independence Day with Flag Hoisting Ceremony
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), in keeping with its rich traditions, celebrated Independence Day with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi unfurled the National Flag to the resonating chants of Vande Mataram and the National Anthem. The N.C.C. cadets of the college presented a salute to the flag, followed by a soulful musical tribute of patriotic songs by the Department of Music.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Dwivedi urged students to remember the countless valiant lives lost during the freedom struggle and to safeguard the nation’s hard-earned independence at all costs. She extended warm Independence Day wishes while cautioning against “short-intensity wars” in the form of divisive forces and the growing menace of drug addiction.
The event stood as a heartfelt tribute to the freedom of the beloved motherland.
