KLH Celebrates Spirit of Freedom Across Its Campuses
KLH celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm today across its campuses, including KLH Aziznagar, KLH Bachupally and KLH Global Business School (GBS), Kondapur in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad, August 15, 2026: KLH celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm today across its campuses, including KLH Aziznagar, KLH Bachupally and KLH Global Business School (GBS), Kondapur in Hyderabad. Students, faculty members and staff joined the celebrations, paying tribute to the nation’s freedom fighters and reaffirming their commitment to the values of unity, responsibility and nation-building.
The celebrations commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and tributes to the freedom fighters whose courage and sacrifices paved the way for India’s independence. The campuses came alive with patriotic songs, cultural performances, speeches and student activities celebrating India’s rich heritage, achievements and aspirations for the future.
At Aziznagar, the celebrations also featured an impressive Guard of Honour by NCC cadets and vibrant cultural performances that reflected the spirit of patriotism and India’s rich cultural heritage. NCC ‘B’ Certificates were also presented to deserving cadets in recognition of their dedication, discipline and commitment to the values embodied by the National Cadet Corps.
Sharing his message on the occasion, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President, KL Deemed to be University, extended his greetings to the University community. He emphasised the vital role of young people in shaping the next chapter of India’s growth and encouraged students to use education, innovation, technology and entrepreneurship as powerful tools for nation-building. He urged them to think boldly, act responsibly and contribute their knowledge and skills towards building a stronger, self-reliant and Viksit Bharat.
The celebrations across the campuses were led by the respective academic leadership, including Dr. A. Ramakrishna, Principal, KLH Aziznagar Campus; Dr. L. Koteswara Rao, Principal, KLH Bachupally Campus; and Prof. (Dr.) Anand Bethapudi, Dean, KLH Global Business School, Kondapur. They encouraged students to draw inspiration from the sacrifices and ideals of India’s freedom fighters and translate the spirit of independence into excellence, innovation, discipline and service to society.
The celebrations concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism, pride and collective responsibility, inspiring the University community to carry forward the spirit of freedom through purposeful action and meaningful contribution to the nation.
