KL University Brings Alumni and Industry Leaders Together at Hyderabad Meet 2026

Hyderabad, September 7, 2026: KL Deemed to be University organised its flagship “Hyderabad Chapter and Corporate Alumni Meet 2026” at the KLH Bachupally Campus, bringing together around 300 distinguished alumni, corporate professionals, university leadership and faculty members on a common platform to reconnect, exchange ideas and explore new avenues for industry–academia collaboration.
The meet celebrated the university’s growing alumni network and highlighted the important role former students can play in mentoring young talent, strengthening industry engagement, supporting research and innovation, and creating new academic and professional opportunities for students.
Addressing the gathering, renowned entrepreneur, business director and film producer, Nikhila Koneru spoke about the university’s evolving approach to learning, with greater emphasis on practical application, innovation and product development. She said students are increasingly being encouraged to move beyond conventional academic projects and develop solutions and viable products that address real-world needs. Inviting alumni to become active partners in the university’s growth journey, she outlined six strategic avenues for engagement, including mentorship, talent hiring, joint research and enterprise partnerships.
Dr. G. Pardha Saradhi Varma, Vice Chancellor, KL Deemed to be University, appreciated the alumni for representing the institution across leading organisations and contributing to technological and professional innovation globally. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to strengthening multidisciplinary research, advanced academic infrastructure and learning facilities across its campuses.
Highlighting the importance of closer engagement with industry, Dr. N. Venkataram, Pro Vice Chancellor, said corporate alumni can play an important role in bridging the gap between academic learning and emerging workplace requirements. He encouraged alumni to contribute through curriculum inputs, guest lectures, mentoring, industry exposure and skill-alignment initiatives for students.
Prof. Hari Kiran Vege, Additional Dean (Academics), shared insights into the university’s progressive academic framework, including its tri-semester model, growing presence across KLH Bachupally, Aziznagar and Kondapur in Hyderabad, and Vaddeswaram in Andhra Pradesh, as well as its expanding collaborations with international universities.
Dr. Kavya, Professor, ECE and Director of Alumni Relations, presented various academic and institutional developments and shared information on opportunities for direct Ph.D. admissions for eligible B.Tech graduates with an 8.0 CGPA or 80 per cent marks. Dr. L. Koteswara Rao, Principal, KLH Bachupally, assured continued institutional support for strengthening alumni participation in academic, professional and campus-development initiatives.
The programme was also attended by Dr. A. Ramakrishna, Principal, KLH Aziznagar; Prof. (Dr.) Anand Bethapudi, Dean, KLH Global Business School; and Dr. K. Sony, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, along with faculty members, corporate professionals and alumni from different batches.
The meet concluded with an interactive networking luncheon, providing alumni an opportunity to reconnect with former mentors and peers while discussing potential collaborations in mentoring, recruitment, research, entrepreneurship and industry-led initiatives. The Hyderabad Chapter and Corporate Alumni Meet 2026 reinforced KL University’s focus on building a vibrant alumni ecosystem that connects academic learning with industry experience and creates meaningful opportunities for the next generation of students.
