Kitab Lovers Brings ‘Load the Box’ Book Fair to Mohali
Book Fair starts at CP 67 Mall, Mohali, and continues till August 31

Mohali, August 20, 2025: Kitab Lovers started its much-awaited 12-day ‘Load the Box’ Book Fair today at CP 67 Mall, Mohali, running from August 20 to 31. The fair opened with an overwhelming response from readers, showcasing more than 10 lakh books across more than 20 genres, ranging from the latest releases to evergreen classics. The book fair is open for visitors from 11 am to 10 pm every day.
One of the biggest highlights announced for the event was the special ‘Author Meetup’ with India’s bestselling mythology writer, Devdutt Pattanaik, scheduled for August 30 at 6 pm at the same venue. Entry for the session will be free, offering readers and fans a golden opportunity to interact directly with the acclaimed author, ask questions, and share discussions on his works.
The fair’s unique attraction, the ‘Load the Box’ concept, once again drew attention from bibliophiles.
Rahul Pandey, Founder of Kitab Lovers, expressed his excitement about bringing the fair to Mohali for the first time. He remarked, “We were thrilled to launch the book fair in Punjab. Our mission has always been to provide books at the most affordable prices possible. From children to senior citizens, whether it is mystery, self-help, romance, or fiction, we ensured there was something for everyone. We were particularly delighted to see the growing interest in non-fiction and Hindi literature, which we believe will further strengthen the reading culture among people.”
Sharing his thoughts on the importance of reading in the modern era, Pandey added, “In today’s digital age, the habit of reading has declined considerably. While the internet and social media entertain us, they cannot replace the wisdom and experience of books. We strongly encouraged parents to bring their children to the fair and help them rediscover the joy of reading.”
Since its inception in 2019, Kitab Lovers has hosted over 350 book fairs in 45 cities across India, reaching lakhs of readers. With the ‘Load the Box’ model, the company continues its mission to make books accessible to every Indian household.
The Mohali edition offered added attractions, including a dedicated section featuring over 500 Hindi titles, a cozy reading corner, a special display for new launches, and fun competitions with exciting prizes for visitors of all age groups.
