Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Popular Hindi and Marathi film star Kishori Shahane Vij recently visited Punjab for the first time to shoot for the web series “Sajda”. Directed by Amritpreet, the series is being filmed at a luxurious farmhouse near Panchkula, where Kishori plays a powerful, wealthy, fitness-obsessed woman who enjoys dominance in every sphere of life.
Kishori calls her first Punjab shooting experience memorable. She says, “When I learned the drama would be shot in Punjab, I instantly agreed. My husband Deepak is from Punjab, and I had heard so much about the culture here. The hospitality, the warmth and the Punjabi food won my heart—even my diet schedule surrendered!”
Up next, she will be seen in the upcoming web series “Kitne Aadmi The”, produced and directed by her husband. Proud of her son Bobby Vij entering acting, Kishori says she is enjoying the best phase of her career and is open to Punjabi films if a good offer comes her way.
