Haryana Public Health Engineering and Excise & Taxation Minister, Kiran Chaudhary presiding over the meeting of District Excise & Taxation Deputy Commissioners in New Delhi on Wednesday.
New Delhi/Jalandhar, August 22, 2013: Haryana Public Health Engineering and Excise & Taxation Minister, Kiran Chaudhary has directed the officers to complete the targets of Excise Revenue. Presiding over the review meeting regarding the excise revenue receipts during the four months of April, May, June and July, 2013, Chaudhary said that the targets fixed for different months must be fully achieved.
The review meeting was held at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, which was attended by the Principal Secretary of Excise & Taxation Department Hardeep Kumar, The Commissioner Anil Malik, Additional Commissioner S.K. Sharma, Joint Commissioner Ashok Sharma and Deputy Commissioners of Excise & Taxation from various districts.
Reviewing the position of excise revenue collected by various districts, Chaudhary emphasized on fulfilling the targets in a time-bound manner and asked the officers to make special efforts for increasing the revenue.
Chaudhary asked the Deputy Commissioners of Excise & Taxation to hold monthly meetings in their districts to keep upto date information with them about the revenue receipts and also to send a copy to her. Wherever there is any bottleneck or problem, that should be immediately attended to, she said.
