As now just few months are left for the Punjab Assembly polls in 2022 BJP national secretary and co-in charge of Punjab BJP Political Affairs Dr Narinder Singh focused his vision towards strengthening the organizational structure up to booth level. Dr Nariender Singh is visiting various places in Punjab and inquiring the status of the organizational structure up to booth level. He is of a view that the strengthened organization structure, proper motivation of the party cadre towards the policies and programmes, reforms implemented by the Modi Government can convert the masses ideology towards positivity towards the party. In Punjab, there are three zones namely Malwa, Majha and Doaba. In the past, BJP had shown better performance in Majha and Doaba areas. Keeping an eye on the Dalit vote bank BJP is now focusing on Doaba Belt, the party’s senior leaders Avinash Rai Khanna, Vijay Sampla, Arunesh Shakir, Tikshan Sood from Hoshiarpur, Union Minister Som Parkash, Arun Khosla, Rajesh Bagha, Manoranjan Kalia, Bhagat Chuni Lal are the leaders who have a strong following and have the capacity of a game changer by impressing the vote bank towards the party. Multi corner contests cannot be ruled out in coming Punjab Assembly elections 2022. All the political parties are focusing and calculating their votes in various areas. Influencing and visit to the Deras in coming days cannot be ruled out by political leaders. BJP is leaving no stone unturned carrying out meetings with the district units for strengthening the organizational structure as the party seems to be contesting on 117 assembly seats.
PPCC president Navjot Singh Sidhu visits Dera Sachkhand Ballan 
Punjab Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has announced that if voted to power for the second successive term, his party will give electricity at Rs.3 per unit to the consumers. Interestingly, it his party in power at present and Capt Amarinder Singh is Chief Minister of Punjab. Sidhu’s announcement comes after Aam Adami Party (AAP) had announced 300 units of electricity free to every consumer and SAD(B) had announced 400 units of electricity free to the consumers. With more announcements of freebies in the pre- election period cannot be ruled out in coming days, Masses are keeping an eye on all the announcements. Recently the visit of Congress chief at Dera Sachkhand Ballan indicates that the Congress is also keeping an eye on Dalit Votes Bank in Punjab. Its leaders in Doaba Belt in Punjab Ch Santokh Singh, Mohinder Singh Kaypee, Shushil Rinku, Dr Raj Kumar, Avtar Henry, Sham Sunder Arora and others are also leaving no stone unturned to ensure there comeback for successive time. Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh is calmly handling the current situation. The reshuffle of Punjab Cabinet by Punjab CM seems to be in a delay/pending mode.

SAD-BSP alliance seems to be keeping an eye on the rural vote bank. In the rural areas, the Akalis have strong vote bank, with the alliance of BSP their share of votes can increase especially in Doaba and Malwa belts.

Aam Adami Party (AAP) is keeping an eye on the recent developments in the political circles. This political party is focusing on the issues which have not been touched by other political parties. Whatever may be the results in future but one thing is clear that Punjab can witness a coalition government in the Punjab after the Assembly Elections 2022.
