Dharramshala, July 18, 2019: The Kangra Central Co-operative Bank (KCCB), which came into existence on 17th March 1920, with its head office in Dharamshala- Himachal, is celebrating its 100th year of establishment.

The chairman of KCCB Dr Rajiv Bhardwaj said that bank has launched some incentive schemes today for its employees to reduce the NPA and increase the deposits to bring it at the top co- operative bank of India.

Talking to this correspondent Bhardwaj said that many more new schemes for its customers too, will also be announced by Jai Ram Thakur CM Himachal, in a centenary function being organised by KCCB shortly in Dharamshala.

Talking about the schemes announced today Dr Bhardwaj said, “Bank has six type of branches namely, scale one to six, which are categorised by its deposits and advances- ranging from Rs .10 crore to Rs.100 crores respectively and incentives or winning prize also been fixed ranging from Rs.75000 to 2,75.000 accordingly to the performances of these branches.”

He said the performance of branches shall be judged from their target achievements in NPA recovery, loan disseverment, growth in digitalization, profit, deposits etc.

Adding, he said that in second prize money scheme, the remaining branches can win more prizes from Rs.51000 to 2,00,000 among themselves on other targets.

Dr Bhardwaj said the similar competition shall also be there, where all the 18 AGM offices shall compete for such cash prizes .
“The dead line for these Prize incentives shall be 28/2/2020,” said Chairman.

Chairman said that this bank, which is only working in the 5 districts out of 12 ,of HP has becomes the 81st direct member Live on NFS that issue RuPay Cards. The Bank has successfully adopted ISO 20022 messaging standard format in NG-RTGS payment platform.

He said that during past year till 31/3/19 bank has reduced its NPA from rs 933.21 crore to Rs.834.23 crore and increased net profit by 34.59 crore rupees.

This hundred years old KCC Bank has 216 branches, 13 extension counters, 18 Zonal Offices, with 25 lakh customers.

Dr Bhsasrdwaj said, “Ee are providing security gourds 24X7 in its all 103 ATMs.”

He said that there are only 8-10 branches where the bank is not getting required business, the survey is on, and if require the branches could be shift few KMs to get the required targets.
