Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations on 26th July in MDU, Rohtak
MDU, Rohtak will celebrate 'Kargil Vijay Diwas’ with special dignity and reverence on 26th July. On this occasion, tribute will be paid to the martyrs of Kargil war who wrote the immortal saga of bravery, sacrifice and dedication towards the motherland. A special meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh to finalize the preparations for this grand event.

Rohtak, July 23, 2025: MDU, Rohtak will celebrate 'Kargil Vijay Diwas’ with special dignity and reverence on 26th July. On this occasion, tribute will be paid to the martyrs of Kargil war who wrote the immortal saga of bravery, sacrifice and dedication towards the motherland. A special meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh to finalize the preparations for this grand event.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh said that the families of the brave soldiers martyred in the Kargil war will be publicly honored. The Vice Chancellor said that there will be a special screening of the Bollywood film 'Sher Shah' based on the unique courage and sacrifice of Kargil hero martyr Captain Vikram Batra. There will be a special lecture by Kargil Warrior Brigadier Harbir Singh and eminent doctor Prof. Dhruva Chaudhary.
The Vice Chancellor instructed the concerned officials that every activity of the ceremony should be planned, emotional and inspiring. He also said that active participation of NSS, YRC and NCC units will be ensured on this occasion.
DSW Prof. Sapna Garg said that preparations are in full swing for the grand event of Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations. Proctor Prof. Randeep Rana, Brigadier Harbir Singh, Dean CDC Prof. Vinita Hooda, DSW Prof. Sapna Garg, Head of Music Department Prof. Vimal, Director PR Prof. Ashish Dahiya, Director Alumni Relations Prof. Sumit Gill, Director Sports Dr. Shakuntala Beniwal, Director Horticulture Prof. Deepak Kaushik, YRC Program Coordinator Prof. Anju Dhiman, NSS Program Coordinator Prof. Savita Rathi, Campus School Director Prof. Sunita Saini, PRO Pankaj Nain, Khairati Lal and others were present in the meeting.
