Jalandhar, December 3, 2018: 'No matter where life takes you, don't forget where you came from' is something Kapil Sharma, the par excellence Comedian and Actor, who reached the pinnacle of stardom with his hit family show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' hasn't seem to forgotten. Kapil recently broke the internet with his surprise announcement on ‘Twitter’ about his impending wedding with Ginni Chatrath, a Jalandhar based girl whom he met on the comedy reality show ‘Hans Baliye’.

Unlike many of the other stars, Kapil Sharma did not forget his root, and chose the iconic Lovely Sweets-a 60 years old Indian sweets manufacturer in Punjab for sweets, and Lovely Imagination for the invitation cards & boxes, to design the beautiful wedding Invitations and sweets which are sent to all the celebrities and other invitees. Lovely Sweets is one of the oldest Indian sweets manufacturers from Punjab, whose Laddoos and sweets make all Jalandhar feel proud of. The wedding is also set to take place in Jalandhar on 12th December followed by a huge reception in Mumbai with the who's who of Bollywood expected in attendance.

According to Naresh Mittal, the Director of Lovely Sweets, "Ginni had come along with her family-members and friends to see our new collection, and she liked our designs and presentation style, instantly. Ginni and Kapil wanted a perfect amalgamation of ‘Traditions and Modernity’ and our luxurious Royalty collection fit the bill perfectly. Both Kapil and Ginni were keen to share the flavours of Punjab with a touch of modernity and wellness with all friends and relatives invited for the wedding. They finally chose an eclectic mix of Dry Fruit Punjabi Panjeeri, Nutty Delights, Green Tea and Baked Delights as accompaniment for their Wedding Invitations adorned by traditional India Motifs and symbolism of Elephants.”
