Dharamshala, October 13, 2014: Kangra Central co operative Bank (KCCB) shall be the first in its sector in the state to open an all women branch. Disclosing this, the Chairman of this leading national co operative bank, Jagdish Sapehia said, “As we have the head quarters in Dharamshala, we shall open the first all women branch here in Depot Bazar locality .This branch shall start functioning from 1st January 2015 . We have a plan to open five more such branches in five districts during next year.”
He said that at the moment the bank has 197 branches and 12 extension counters of the bank in state.

Chairman informed that the KCCB came into existence on 17th March 1920 with its only branch at Dharamshala and 2nd Branch of the Bank opened at Nurpur near Dharamshala in Jan’1956. Financial Position of KCCB as on 31st March 2013 was as under:
