Kangana Should Google Her Own Name Before Making Derogatory Remarks About Gen Z, Says Parminder Mehta

Ludhiana, July 28, 2026: Senior leader and former councillor Parminder Mehta took a swipe at former Bollywood actress and BJP MP from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut, over her alleged derogatory remarks about Gen Z.
Mehta said, "It is easy to preach to others while ignoring one's own shortcomings." He described Kangana's choice of words against Gen Z as "highly inappropriate and shameful," especially considering that she is a Member of Parliament.
He further said it was surprising that Kangana was allegedly making disparaging remarks about young girls who participated in the Jantar Mantar protest. According to Mehta, Kangana seemed to have forgotten her own past. He claimed that anyone who simply searches Kangana's name on Google would come across numerous old photographs and videos that, in his view, would remind people of her own history.
Mehta alleged that Kangana was making such statements only to please her political bosses. He claimed that the Gen Z movement had compelled the government to respond to public pressure, which, according to him, had unsettled the ruling establishment.
He further alleged that, in their frustration, leaders like Kangana were attempting to malign the country's youth by acting as "sycophants" of the ruling leadership. However, he asserted that such efforts would not succeed.
Drawing a contrast, Mehta said that while the Prime Minister has referred to students as his "friends" and interacted with them, Kangana has allegedly expressed disgust at seeing them.
