Kalia Unfurls National Flag, Highlights India’s Economic Growth under PM Modi
BJP National Executive Member and former Punjab Minister Manoranjan Kalia unfurled the National Tricolour in front of his residence in Central Town, Jalandhar, as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations.

Jalandhar, August 15, 2025: BJP National Executive Member and former Punjab Minister Manoranjan Kalia unfurled the National Tricolour in front of his residence in Central Town, Jalandhar, as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, Kalia said India is close to achieving its goal of moving from the fifth-largest to the third-largest GDP in the world before 2029. He credited the past eleven years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi for strengthening the nation’s economy and making the country increasingly self-reliant.
He highlighted that significant strides have been made in industrial growth, infrastructure development, agriculture, science and technology, as well as in the arms and ammunition sector—reducing imports and boosting exports.
