Jalandhar, March 23, 2014: BJP national executive member Manoranjan Kalia, MLA, on Sunday paid glowing tributes to the national martyr Bhagat Singh by garlanding the statue at Bhagat Singh Chownk here.
Speaking on the occasion, Kalia recalled the sacrifices made by the martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev and others. He added the countrymen must keep into the mind that they were enjoying the freedom only because of sacrifices made by freedom fighters. He asked the youths to work for keeping the Independence intact.
BJP leaders Rajat Kumar Mohindru, Anil Sacher, Jawahar Sood, Gulshan Vyas, Satish Kapur, Dr Romesh Kamboj, Ashish Chopra, Rajat Jairath, Arun Handa, Jagjit Singh, Varinder Gupta, Vipan Anand, Urmil Vaid, Manju Kanda, Parveen Abrol, Rajesh Jain, Gurjit Rai, Rinku Puri, Iqbal Puppy, Rajiv Kumar, Sahil Chopra, Abhi Sikka, Dimple Sikka, Amit Pal Sangha, Moti, Pundit Lali and Ramesh Sachdeva were among those present.
