Kalia expresses deep shock on sad demise of former President of India Pranab Mukherjee

Jalandhar: BJP senior leader and former minister Punjab Manoranjan Kalia has expressed deep shock on the sad demise of former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee. In a statement here today, he added that Mukherjee successfully discharged the responsibilities as Union Minister and as the President of India impartially and without favour. He said Mukherjee was widely respected by the people across all sections of society. Mukherjee had tremendous knowledge of India’s history, diplomacy, public policy and also Defence, he said, adding Mukherjee was true son of the soil.
