Phillaur, March 30, 2023: The Kabaddi competition was held at DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur on Tuesday, with great enthusiasm.
In the girls' category, two teams, namely Team A and Team B, participated in the competition. Similarly, in the boys' under-14 age group category, four teams, namely Prosperity House, Unity House, and Dignity House, participated. Prosperity House secured the first position, while Unity House achieved second place. Likewise, in the boys' under-19 category, Dignity House emerged as the winner, and Prosperity House secured the second position.
Dr. Yogesh Gambhir, the Principal of the School commended the students and emphasized the importance of active participation in sports. He highlighted that engaging in sports leads to physical vitality, good health, and the development of a strong community. He stressed the significance of discipline in sports, urging everyone to adhere to the rules and play with enthusiasm. He also extended his best wishes to all the participants, expressing his belief that they would bring pride to their country, society, village, and parents in the future.
