K Krishnamurthy of Karnataka wins 75 years category of 21st National Veteran Table Tanis Championship

Dr. Shantha T of Karnataka wins ladies’ 70 years group
Dharamsala, March 2, 2014: K Krishnamurthy of Karnataka won the 1st position in the 75 year male group of 21st National Veteran Table Tanis Championship, which concluded in Dharamsala on Sunday. In this section Satya Narayan of Karnataka bagged the 2nd and R P Chatterjea of West Bengal the 3rd position. In 70 years category Men- Dr B R Sainath of UP was 1st, Kamlesh Ganguly of WB 2nd and P C Beby of Delhi declared 3rd. In 65 years category A R Baroorker of Maharashtra was 1st, Santosh Koushik of MP2nd and R C Mourya declared 3rd.  In 60 years category Yogesh Desai of Maharashtra was 1st, Joan Peter of TN 2nd and Depak Doodhane of Maharashtra was 3rd. In 50 years category, Vivek Arora of WB was 1st, Sunil Babraas of Maharashtra 2nd and Devid Su of WB was 3rd.
In ladies category  of 70 years, Dr. Shantha T of Karnatka  was 1st, MB Bhaiji of Gujrat 2nd and Usha Ben of Gujrat 3rd. In 65 years Lathika Usalinagam of Karnatka 1st, Laxmi Krishnam of AP 2nd. In 60 years group Laila Bhagwan of RBI 1st, Preeti Desai of Maharashtra 2nd and Maneesha Wats of Maharashtra 3rd. In 50 years group Tushaarkana Dutta of WB 1st, Maneesha Kathaaria of MP 2nd and Mandamini of Karnatka remain 3rd.
More than 1000 players of 28 states and 5 institutions participated in this championship,  which include  200 international table tennis players of their time.
