Journalism Students celebrate Diwali with great enthusiasm
Inspired by the festival of lights, the faculty members and students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at MDU resolved to spread the message of knowledge, peace, brotherhood, and social harmony throughout the university campus, society, state, and country at the Diwali Milan ceremony.

Rohtak, October 14, 2025: Inspired by the festival of lights, the faculty members and students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at MDU resolved to spread the message of knowledge, peace, brotherhood, and social harmony throughout the university campus, society, state, and country at the Diwali Milan ceremony.
Students from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication decorated beautiful rangolis, lit earthen lamps, and filled the air with the light of the festival with songs and music.
Faculty members Sunit Mukherjee and Dr. Naveen Kumar extended their heartfelt greetings for the festival of lights and highlighted the tradition of celebrating the festival in different regions across the country. They inspired the students to light the lamp of knowledge and move from darkness to light. Research scholar Priya recited a poem. Sakshi conducted the program. The students celebrated the upcoming festival of lights with dance and song.
