JL Oswal & MP Arora inaugurate multipurpose hall in premises of Day Care Centre 

Ludhiana, February 12, 2023: Sanjeev Arora, MP (Rajya Sabha) has asked the younger generation to give due respect to their parents, who are no less than `God’.

He was addressing a gathering of senior citizens after inaugurating a newly built multipurpose hall in the premises of Day Care Centre, Model Town Extension (Block-D) here on Sunday. He along with Jawahar Lal Oswal, CMD, Nahar Group of Companies, attended the function as the chief guests.  

Arora further asked the younger generation to render maximum service to their parents because the blessings of parents play a vital role in one’s life. 

Arora lauded and congratulated Senior Citizens Council of Ludhiana, stating that “it is highly appreciable that the multipurpose hall has been built with sincere efforts of the Council’s whole team”. 

On the occasion, JL Oswal & Arora announced a collective grant of Rs.21 lacs for completion of all pending work at complex. 

Arora appreciated social and public welfare works being done by Jawahar Lal Oswal. “The society is getting benefitted to maximum extent with the Oswal’s efforts”, he said.

In his address, Jawahar Lal Oswal appreciated efforts of the Council for rendering remarkable services to senior citizens. He also announced to give concession in tests upto 20 percent to senior citizens suffering from Cancer disease in Mohandai Oswal Cancer Hospital.

Speaking on the occasion, the organisers briefed about the formation and working of the Council. They said though multipurpose hall has been completed yet other infrastructure such as seating arrangement, ACs, ceiling fans, kitchen etc is still to be created. They thanked both Arora and Oswal for announcing financial assistance for the purpose. Among others, the Council’s president MP Gupta and general secretary Vinod Mahajan spoke on the occasion.

Both Arora and Oswal were presented mementoes on the occasion.
