Jaywant, Armaan and Sahajpreet Become Medal Winners at the Asian Junior Soft Tennis Championship
Narinder Singh, General Secretary of the Soft Tennis Association of Punjab, informed that the 2nd Asian Junior Soft Tennis Championship was organized at Harvest Tennis Academy, Jassowal, under the supervision of the Asian Soft Tennis Federation and Amateur Soft Tennis Federation, from 4th to 8th February.
Ludhiana, February 12, 2026: Narinder Singh, General Secretary of the Soft Tennis Association of Punjab, informed that the 2nd Asian Junior Soft Tennis Championship was organized at Harvest Tennis Academy, Jassowal, under the supervision of the Asian Soft Tennis Federation and Amateur Soft Tennis Federation, from 4th to 8th February.
In this four-day championship, Punjab players representing India delivered an outstanding performance and created history. Jaywant Singh Grewal won a gold medal in the team event, silver in singles, and bronze in doubles. Armaan Singh and Sahajpreet Singh Bajwa also won gold medals in the team event and bronze medals in the doubles category, bringing great pride to Punjab.
Teams from China, Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea, Cambodia, Nepal, Bhutan, Laos, Timor, Sri Lanka, Thailand, along with host nation India, participated in the championship and showcased excellent performances while securing medals.
Congratulating the Punjab players on this historic achievement, Chief Secretary Narendra Singh, Vikramjeet Singh, President Anumeet Singh Heera Sodhi, and Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh extended their best wishes.
