Jashan-2022 Cultural Eve organized in Doaba College 

Jalandhar, April 19, 2022: Doaba College organized Cultural Programme entitled Jashan-2022 to showcase the talent of students reflecting Punjabi culture. College students performed Bhangra, Gidha, Luddi and folk songs on this occasion. Renowned Punjabi Director, Actor and Singer Parmish Verma grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and his team- Laddi Chahal, Sukhan Verma, Hardy Ludhiana as guests of honour. He was accorded a hearty welcome by Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Dr. Ominder Johal, Prof. Sandeep Chahal, Prof. Sukhwinder Singh, Dr. Simran Sidhu, Kapil Dev Sharma- Office Superintendent Staff and students. 

Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, while welcoming the chief guest said that students should take inspiration from the hard work done by celebrity- Parmish Verma and should try to achieve glory in life. He motivated students to follow his lifestyle of self control and discipline to carve a niche in society.        

Parmish Verma enthralled the students by singing his popular songs like Gaal Ni Kadhni, Pindaan Waale Jatt, Tor nal shada etc. Parmish Verma & his team also did promotion of his upcoming film Main te Bapu which is based on a beautiful relationship between father and son. Noted Punjabi Singer Laddi Chahal also entertained the audience with his popular Punjabi songs. Alumnus Punjabi Singer Nek Hans also mesmerized the audience with his popular songs. 

Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Dr. Ominder Johal, Prof. Sandeep Chahal, Prof. Sukhwinder Singh, Kapil Dev Sharma presented mementoes to Parmish Verma and his team. Prof. Priya Chopra anchored the event beautifully.
