Jasbir Singh Ryait gets Punjab Ratan Award

Ludhiana, August 27, 2013: President of GNPS Committee, Jasbir Singh Ryait has been conferred Punjab Ratan at All India Conference of Intellectuals held at Chandigarh.
The award was presented by Lt Gen K.M. Seth, Former Governor, Chattisgarh, Justice Rajesh Tandon, Member Human Rights Commission U.K. and Prakash Nidhi Sharma, Advocate Supreme Court of India and National General Secretary of All India Conference of Intellectuals.
 Jasbir Singh, who is Industrial Engineer by education from Thapar University, Patiala, has been conferred this honour in recognition of the distinguished services rendered by him in the field of education, social work and Industry. He always been working with the spirit of serving the society through quality education, seeing the long term future of the children, and a tired less and dedicated worker in the Industry.
On this occasion, the eminent personalities of Northern India present were Cabinet Minister Punjab for Industry and Technical Education, Anil Joshi, Padambhushan Prof Jagjeet Singh Arora, Dr Jora Singh, Chancellor Deshbhagat University, Dr KN Pathak, former VC Punjab University , Dr R Kohli, VC DAV University, Jalandhar, Dr Raj Bahadur PGI, Renowned Agriculturist Mewa Singh,  Eminent social worker, Sushil Kumar Malhotra and Brijesh Maria, Chairman, Bharat Maria Sangh.
