Japanese Brand Nitori Opens Its Second Store in India in Mumbai
Japanese furniture and home furnishing brand Nitori has opened its second store in India at Sky City Mall in Borivali, Mumbai. Launched ahead of Diwali, the new store takes the Nitori Group’s global retail network to 1,093 stores. Since entering India in December 2024, the brand’s expansion reflects its growing ambitions in the Indian market.

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Japanese furniture and home furnishing brand Nitori has opened its second store in India at Sky City Mall in Borivali, Mumbai. Launched ahead of Diwali, the new store takes the Nitori Group’s global retail network to 1,093 stores. Located on the Lower Ground Floor of the mall, the store will offer customers a range of furniture and home décor products. The company aims to focus on design, functionality and affordability, catering to the evolving needs of Indian consumers.
Toshiyuki Shirai, COO, Representative Director and President of Nitori, said, “India is an important market for Nitori, with immense potential to bring our vision of furniture and home furnishing to more and more customers here.” He added that the company looks forward to offering products that make everyday life more comfortable and enjoyable.
