Jalandhar, December 16, 2013: A twelve-year-old student was killed and another injured when a school bus of Sahibjada Ajit Singh School collided with a Tata Safari in Sarhali village of cantonment area in the district, a police official said here on Monday.
“Harish Kumar (12) was killed in the accident and another student was injured after a speeding car rammed with speeding school bus. In the incident driver of car was also injured”, said ACP Cantt Balbinder Iqbal Singh Kahlon.
Both of injured have been rushed to the hospital after the accident, the ACP said, adding that 22 students were on board in the bus when incident occured.
Police Station Cantt has registered a case in this regard.
