Jalandhar, September 18, 2013: Lakhs of devotees today paid obeisance during Baba Sodal Mela here.
Various social organisations organised langars in and outside the temple premises. Devotees including men, women, children and elderly persons were wearing colourful dresses.
The organisations, which organised langars included Yuva Partap Manch and Rashtriya Sewa Utsav Samiti, Basti Guzan, Jalandhar.
BJP national executive member Manoranjan Kalia inaugurated the langar.
The leaders of social organization including Pankaj Jairath, Mukesh Sharma, Aditya Sharma, Sanjeev Jairath, Rashpal Singh, Chander Kant, Harminder Kumar, Arun Handa, Satish Kapur, Rampal Sharma, Vipan Sharma, Rajat Mohindru, Ravi Mahendru, Jagjit Singh, Anil Sachar, Varinder Sharma Guddu,Ved Rattan, Sunil Sharma, Shammi Kanaujia and Rajesh Sharma and others were present.
Chief Parliament Secretary Punjab Krishan Dev Bhandari and others were also present.
The langars by various other social organisations under the leadership of Rohit Mittal, Kalgi Lal Chadda and others were also organised at different places.
Kids were seen buying balloons and other toys and eatables.
