The festival of Dussehra was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit at our school through a special assembly and engaging classroom activities. The celebration aimed to instill moral values while educating students about the significance of Dussehra — the eternal victory of good over evil.

The celebration aimed to instill moral values while educating students about the significance of Dussehra — the eternal victory of good over evil.
The special assembly commenced with a thought for the day and a brief introduction highlighting the importance of the festival. Students reflected on the triumph of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana, emphasizing deeper messages of truth, courage, and righteousness.
The atmosphere was filled with devotion as the school choir presented soulful songs inspired by the spirit of the Ramayana. Their melodious performance set the tone for the day’s festivities.
Adding vibrancy and color, students presented a traditional dance performance to devotional and folk tunes, dressed in graceful attire that brought out the festive spirit of the occasion.
The highlight of the assembly was a captivating role play based on the Ramayana, where students enacted key episodes — from the exile of Lord Rama to the final battle with Ravana. Their expressive dialogues and powerful performances brought the epic to life, leaving the audience deeply inspired.
Beyond the assembly, various Dussehra-themed classroom activities were organized across different grades, allowing students to engage in creative expression and reflective learning.
The celebration was a perfect blend of learning, culture, and creativity, providing students with an opportunity to connect with Indian traditions, showcase their talents, and reflect on timeless values that remain relevant in today’s world.
