Jalandhar, December 5, 2025: In alignment with the NEP 2020’s emphasis on experiential and skill-based learning, Grade XI students of Ivy World School undertook an immersive educational visit to Capital Small Finance Bank. The initiative was designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world financial literacy, empowering students with practical exposure to the functioning of modern banking systems.
The visit provided students with hands-on understanding of core banking operations, including the procedures involved in depositing funds, managing net banking, and availing locker services. Students also gained insights into the structured mechanisms of loan application, processing, and sanctioning, helping them connect theoretical concepts of banking and finance with practical workflows.
A key highlight of the visit was an informative session on banking fraud prevention, where experts from the bank demonstrated essential cyber security practices, red flags for fraudulent activity, and customer protection protocols. This aligned strongly with NEP’s focus on digital literacy and 21st-century life skills, equipping students with critical knowledge essential in an increasingly digital financial ecosystem.
Ivy World School continually strives to provide its learners with holistic, multidisciplinary learning experiences, ensuring they grow into informed, responsible, and financially aware citizens. Educational visits such as this reinforce the school’s commitment to learning beyond the classroom, nurturing competencies that extend far beyond textbooks.
