K1 students of Ivy World School, Jalandhar during outdoor trip.
Jalandhar, January 22, 2015: As a part of thematic curriculum, Ivy World School organised an outdoor trip of K1 students to departmental store, Easyday for developing the observation and cognitive skills of the learners. The basic idea behind this trip was to make the children aware about the importance and nutrition value of different fruits, they learnt how to buy & weigh fruits, billing and payment. Importance of community helpers i.e shopkeeper in our daily life. Children enjoyed weighing the fruits and waiting for their turns at billing counter. The thematic curriculum being run by Synergy School System aims at an overall development of the learners apart from academics.
