Jalandhar, August 11, 2025: Ivy World School, under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society, hosted its Investiture Ceremony — a celebration of leadership, responsibility, and commitment — marking the formal induction of the newly appointed Student Council, a highlight of the school’s academic calendar.
The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Commodore Brijesh Paul (Vayu Sena Medal) and Dr. Kanchan Paul, whose inspiring presence left a lasting impression on the young leaders and the audience. Their addresses underscored the importance of integrity, service, discipline, and the courage to lead in today’s world.
The event began with the lighting of the traditional lamp, symbolising the triumph of knowledge over ignorance, followed by a soul-stirring performance by the Torrins Band and the school choir, creating a serene and reflective atmosphere.
The newly elected student leaders — including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captains, House Captains, and Prefects — marched with pride in the ceremonial walk. Dignitaries conferred sashes and badges, and the Director Principal administered the oath, in which the council pledged to uphold the values and ethos of Ivy World School with integrity and dedication.
In his keynote address, Commodore Brijesh Paul highlighted the role of discipline, dedication, and education in shaping responsible global citizens, while Dr. Kanchan Paul encouraged students to dream big while remaining grounded in strong values.
The leadership of the Vasal Education Society — President K.K. Vasal, Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, Vice President Ena Vasal, CEO Raghav Vasal, and Director Aditi Vasal — congratulated the Student Council and stressed the significance of character, courage, and compassion in leadership. They commended the school’s commitment to holistic education and expressed pride in seeing students embrace roles of responsibility as the torchbearers of tomorrow.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem, leaving an atmosphere of pride, inspiration, and renewed motivation among all present.
