Ivy World School Celebrates Raksha Bandhan with Reverence, Creativity and Meaningful Activities

Jalandhar, August 29, 2026: Ivy World School, Jalandhar, celebrated the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm, warmth and a strong spirit of respect and community bonding. The celebrations beautifully combined traditional values with creative learning and meaningful outreach activities.

The school campus came alive with vibrant decorations and colourful craft displays created by the students. Special activities such as Thali decoration, Hampers making, Rakhi-making, creative art and craft, festive decoration and value-based activities were organised to help students understand the deeper significance of Raksha Bandhan—the celebration of love, protection, respect and the cherished bonds that unite individuals and communities.

A special assembly was organised to acquaint students with the cultural and emotional significance of the festival. Through speeches, poems, songs and presentations, students highlighted the values of affection, gratitude, respect and responsibility associated with Raksha Bandhan.

 Ivyians had the honour of visiting and meeting distinguished members of the administration, judiciary, police, armed forces and healthcare services. The students lovingly tied Rakhis to DC of Jalandhar Varjeet Walia,  Commissioner of Police Satinder Singh,  Assistant Commissioner General  Varun,   District & Sessions Judge,  Priya Sood, and other judges.  ADJ Sumit Garg,  District Court    Naresh Garg, District Health Officer, Dr. Sukhwinder Singh, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rajesh Garg Ji.  Lt. Col Divyank Mishra SM,  Col. Kumud Yadav, Col.Dalbir Singh, 

The gesture of tying Rakhis to these esteemed dignitaries was a heartfelt expression of gratitude and respect for those who dedicate themselves to the safety, justice, health, administration and welfare of society.

The celebrations were further enriched by the presence and blessings of Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal and CEO Raghav Vasal, whose encouragement continues to inspire the Ivyians to uphold Indian values while growing into confident and responsible individuals. Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal specially visited the school to have Rakhis tied by the students. The students presented him with paintings and handmade hampers as a gesture of love and affection. He interacted warmly with the students and shared his blessings with them, making the occasion even more special and memorable for the Ivyians.
