Punjab Information and Public Relations Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra today expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Balbir Singh Banwait, the elder brother of senior journalist Kamaljit Singh Banwait.

Chandigarh, September 14, 2023: Punjab Information and Public Relations Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra today expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Balbir Singh Banwait, the elder brother of senior journalist Kamaljit Singh Banwait.
Balbir Singh Banwait (69), who was Punjabi lecturer in a APJ School Jalandhar, was suffering from cancer. He took his last breath in PGI Chandigarh today.
Chetan Singh Jauramajra, while sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family in a condolence message issued here, prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
Balbir Singh Banwait is survived by his wife and a son. His cremation will take place tomorrow i.e. September 15, 2023 at Jalandhar.
