INTUC Releases New Year Calendar
On the occasion of New Year 2026, the PSPCL and PSTCL Workers Federation (INTUC) organized a programme under the leadership of its President, Swaran Singh, during which Pawan Dewan, former President of District Congress Committee (Urban), Ludhiana, released the calendar. A large number of employees associated with various employee organizations were present on the occasion.

Ludhiana, January 1, 2026: On the occasion of New Year 2026, the PSPCL and PSTCL Workers Federation (INTUC) organized a programme under the leadership of its President, Swaran Singh, during which Pawan Dewan, former President of District Congress Committee (Urban), Ludhiana, released the calendar. A large number of employees associated with various employee organizations were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Swaran Singh said that due to the anti-employee and anti-department policies of the Punjab government, PSPCL has reached a very critical condition. He added that despite the seriousness of the situation, the government and management remain completely indifferent and unaffected.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Dewan said that the issues of employees would be resolved at the earliest when a Congress-led government is formed in the state. He also assured resolution of the problems faced by ALM and CHB employees and strongly demanded the immediate release of pending demands, including the installment of arrears of Dearness Allowance (DA). He further agreed that the Chairman of Powercom should be a technical expert so that the system can be better understood and managed efficiently.
Among those present on the occasion were PCC member Sushil Malhotra, Gurdeep Singh (Working President), Charanjit Channi, Bachittar Singh, Baljit Singh (President), Chann Preet, Satish Kumar, Ankit Chaudhary, Ravjot Singh, Gurdev Singh (Superintendent), Jagjit Singh (ALM), Sohan Singh (ALM), and Gurdeep Singh (CHB), along with many other employees.
