International Yoga Teacher Amy inspires students to adopt a healthy lifestyle at the UHRS
A Yoga program was organised at the Dental College Auditorium of Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences by International yoga teacher Amy for the staff and students of the institute. The event was aimed to educate students about the importance of yoga and inspire them to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Rohtak, February 25, 2026: A Yoga program was organised at the Dental College Auditorium of Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences by International yoga teacher Amy for the staff and students of the institute. The event was aimed to educate students about the importance of yoga and inspire them to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Vice Chancellor Dr. H.K. Aggarwal expressed his gratitude to Amy for organizing this event at the institute, noting that people today live stressful lives and their daily routines are not regular. The Vice Chancellor also emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is promoting yoga to ensure everyone's health. He said that a healthy body leads to a calm mind and positive thoughts.
Director Dr. S.K. Singhal said that yoga is an ancient tradition and, thanks to Prime Minister Modi's encouragement, 140 countries around the world celebrate International Yoga Day. He added that yoga can help maintain our health.
International Yoga Teacher Amy talked about stress-relieving strategies. She emphasized that yoga can help maintain a healthy body and mind; and maintain a stress-free life. Amy was honored by the university. Dr. Virender, Dr. Manjunath, Dr. Anita, Dr. Anshul, Dr. Harneet, Dr. Danish, Dr. Kriti, and other faculty members were present on the occasion.
