International webinar on role of augmented and virtual reality in education

Jalandhar: Faculty of Engineering at GNA University conducted an International Webinar on “Role of Augmented and Virtual Reality in Education”. The webinar was delivered by well known educationalist Dr. Carlos, the Director of ABCC from Spain. The webinar was attended by more than 60 participants around the globe.
Dr. Carlos explained the importance of Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) in Education and said in near future gamification will play a crucial role in Indian Education System. Dr Carlos added, “World is moving towards AR/VR and have felt the power of these tools.” In his webinar, he also demonstrated some live examples and also displayed some tools to develop the virtual environment.
Mr. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University congratulated the Faculty on successfully organizing the International Webinar and encouraged them to enhance these activities in near future. He also said, “Soon Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) in Education is a real game changer and should be duly apprised to the students to excel in it.”
Dr. VK Rattan, Vice-Chancellor, GNA University said, “The world is progressing at a rapid speed when it comes to Augmented & virtual Reality, and we at GNA University makes all that accessible for our GUites via such International platforms.”
