International series of Indo-Hungarian Classes in full swing at KMV

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has achieved an eminence in value based quality education amidst this challenging period of COVID-19 pandemic. Keeping up the educational vision and mission, KMV has initiated an international series of Indo-Hungarian classes as KMV spares no effort in providing the best educational experience to its students even during this unprecedented condition of pandemic, and therefore online international classes have been successfully commenced for the students of Psychology in which they are studying Health Psychology from Dr. Robert Urban, Eminent Professor from the prestigious Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary. The genesis of these classes is the result of the KMV- Eotvos Lorand University Memorandum of Understanding which was signed during KMV Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi’s visit to Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary. Since then the faculty from this leading university has been providing their valuable inputs to the KMV students & faculty. But as their visits were curtailed due to the pandemic, KMV have made provision for the online classes. Every week Dr. Robert Urban interacts with the students & also provides online videos, presentations and study material to them. Psychology students have interactive classes with Dr. Robert where he discusses the concepts in detail and also dispels the doubts of the students.  Through these active online classes students are learning how to enhance one’s health and well-being even during adverse conditions and are enriching their intellect and are also getting an immense international exposure. 

Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that this exchange program has received much success and appreciation from the students as they are receiving international exposure from these programs. She further maintained that from time to time international faculty from renowned universities of the world has taken classes at KMV under faculty exchange programs in order to provide world class exposure to the students.
