Chandigarh, October 28, 2025: International Conference on Advances in Condensed and Nano Materials (ICACNM-2025) started today at the Department of Physics, Panjab University.
The inaugural function of three day long international conference was presided over by PU Dean of University Instructions Prof. Yojna Rawat, and Director, Research and Development Cell Prof. Meenakshi Goyal.
Chief Guest, Prof. Christina Trautmann, from the GSI Helmholtzzentrum Center for Heavy Ion Research, Germany delivered the keynote address. Several eminent speakers, specifically Prof. Ravindra Pandey from Michigan Technological University, USA, and Prof. Vasant Sathe, Director, UGC-DAE, Indore, also delivered their lectures today.
Earlier, the conference started with a welcome address by Prof. S. K. Tripathi, Conference Chair and Chairperson of the Department of Physics. In his address, Prof. Tripathi also highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary research and collaboration in advancing the frontiers of condensed matter and nanomaterials science. Prof. Ranjan Kumar, Organizing Secretary of the conference presented a vote of thanks.
