International Conference on Aspects of Material Science and Engineering Concludes at PU

Chandigarh, March 7, 2022: The International Conference on Aspects of Material Science and Engineering held at Panjab University Chandigarh concluded. The delegates from 34 countriesparticipated in the conference in the blended mode. Satya Pal Jain, Ex-MP and Additional Solicitor General of India acted as the Chief Guest and while addressing the audience said that the scientific knowledge should be used for the welfare of the humanity and not for destroying it, by throwing bombs etc on the innocent people. He said that scientific knowledge and advancement is the same for everybody, however it depends upon people making use of it, whether they use it for the welfare of the human beings or for causing destruction in the society. He also requested all the participants to work for contributing towards advancement in technology and also try to make India, AtamNirbhar in all these scientific matters.

Prof Sudhir Kumar, Dean Research, Panjab University, Chandigarh as the Guest of Honour. He shared the importance of using Science for the betterment of mankind and making humans to be humane first.  Vikram Nayyar, Registrar and FDO, Panjab University declared the results regarding the Best Paper Presentations. Muneeshwar Joshi, Secretary to Vice Chancellor also congratulated the winners and the organizers for the successful conduct of this mega event.

Parveen Goyal and Shankar Sehgal co-ordinators of the conference, said that they have brought together experts from all over the world for sharing new ideas, experiences and knowledge and will continue doing so in future also.
