Ludhiana, April 24, 2026: MGSIPA conducted, in collaboration with District Industries Centre Ludhiana, an Inter-State Industrial Exposure Visit to Gabriel India Ltd., Parwanoo (Himachal Pradesh) under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme, Government of India.
The visit was conducted under the able leadership of Dr. Sanjeev Chaddha, Head & Professor, MGSIPA and Principal Investigator – RAMP.
A delegation comprising MSME entrepreneurs from key industrial districts of Ludhiana participated in the visit. The initiative was facilitated in close coordination with the District Industries Centres (DICs) and leading industrial associations of Ludhiana District.
The exposure visit provided participants with valuable insights into advanced manufacturing systems, quality management practices, innovation in production processes, and globally competitive operational standards followed by Gabriel India Ltd., a leading player in the auto component sector.
The visiting MSMEs had the opportunity to understand shop-floor practices, automation, vendor development ecosystems, and quality benchmarks adopted by a large-scale manufacturing enterprise. The interaction also enabled knowledge exchange on improving productivity, competitiveness, and market readiness among MSMEs.
