Inter-Departmental Poster Making and Cartoon Making Competitions

Jalandhar, April 15, 2022: PG. Department of Economics, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organised an Inter-Departmental Poster Making and Cartoon Making Competitions in which 35 students participated and exhibited their creativity and perspective in the form of cartoons and posters. Economics department always thrived to conduct such competitions on economic and social issues to create awareness among students. 

In Poster Making Dhawal Anand of B.Sc. Biotechnology Sem-VI, was adjudged as the winner, Babita BA. Sem-VI got 2nd Position and Nandini M.Com Sem-II and Pooja MA Eco Sem-II both were declared 3rd. In the event Cartoon making Mankirat of B.Com Sem-II won first prize, Ramandeep Kaur B.Sc (Eco) Sem-II got 2nd Position and 3rd Position went to Jaynale MA Eco Sem-II. Consolation prize was given to Anjali of BSc (Eco) Sem-II. 

Winners were honoured by Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra, Principal of College. He lauded and congratulated Economics Department for making such efforts contributing in overall development of the students. Prof. Navdeep Kaur, HOD, Economics Department gave vote of thanks. Dr. S.S. Bains, Dr. Sarbjit Kaur, Prof. Manpreet Kaur and Prof. Harpreet Kaur were among the organizers of the event.
