Inter-College Science Fest- 22 organised at Home Science College 

Chandigarh, March 16, 2022: ‘Science Club- Pragya’ of Government Home Science College organized Inter-College Science Fest-2022 on the theme of “Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for Sustainable Future”. The event was funded by the Department of Science and Technology and Renewable Energy, Chandigarh. Being a professional college, the integration of science and technology has always been a part and parcel of our academic and co-curricular activities. The rationale for organizing the fest is to acquaint the students not only with the recent technological advancements but also to sharpen their critical bent of mind. 
 
The array of events included poster making, essay-writing, slogan writing and sci- toon making. More than 70 participants from across the city from different colleges participated in the event. 
 
The principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal talked about the dire need to inculcate scientific temper among the students. She also emphasized the pivotal role played by science and technology for the sustenance of peaceful societies all around the world. Moreover, she motivated the participants to exhibit their creative potential in the upcoming times and congratulated and gave out prizes to all the winners at the valedictory ceremony.
