Installation ceremony of President Rtn Dinesh Gogna of Rotary Club of Ludhiana

Ludhiana, July 28, 2025: Installation of Rtn President Dinesh Gogna and his team of dedicated Rotarians was solemnized at a glittering function at Rotary Club of Ludhiana on July 26 evening. 

R S Gujral IAS (Retd) former Finance Secretary, Government of India was the Chief Guest. Meeting was called to order by Rtn Er Harsajjan Singh and National the anthem was sung by all present. Chief Guest R S Gujral was welcomed and presented a flower bouquet by Rtn Dinesh Gogna, Rtn Vijay Anand, Rtn Harsajjan Singh and Rtn PDG Sanjeev Sethi and Rtn PDG Suresh Chaudhary. 

Rtn PP S P Karkara spoke in detail about the Rotary Four-Way Test. He elaborated that in everything we think, say, or do, we must ask ourselves four key questions- Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Framed Four-way test was presented to the Chief Guest R S Gujral by Rtn PP S P Karkara.

Jyoti was lit by all the dignitaries and Saraswati Vandana was sung by Rtn Deepika Sharma in her melodious voice. Rtn Harsajjan Singh gave his welcome address and Rtn Vijay Anand presented the club activities report of 2024-25. Rtn PDG Sanjeev Sethi and Rtn PDG Suresh Chaudhary performed the pious duty of installation Officers and took off the President’s collar from acting President Rtn Er Harsajjan Singh and decorated Rtn President Dinesh Gogna. Rtn PDG Suresh Chaudhary administered the oath to Rtn President Dinesh Gogna. 

Rtn President Dinesh Gogna in his acceptance speech, thanked the Senior Rotarians, members of nomination committee for the trust and confidence imposed on him and assured the members that he will do his best and not leave any stone unturned and carry forward the rich legacy of Rotary Club of Ludhiana. Further he expressed his resolve to serve the needy communities around, within   the seven focus areas of Rotary International with the guidance of senior members and support and involvement of all the members.

Rtn PDG Sanjiv Sethi pinned the office bearers and administered the oath to the following Rotarians: Rtn Dr Tejinder Pal Singh Senior Vice President; Rtn S S Khurana Vice President; Rtn Vijay Anand Secretary; Rtn Er Balwinder Singh Grewal Joint Secretary; Rtn Neeraj Sharma Treasurer; and Rtn N S Bindra Sergeant at arm.
